Delete your account
Short version: Delete your account in the app under Account → Delete account, or email us if you can't use the app. Your documents and analyses are deleted right away. Your account record is fully erased within 30 days.
Option 1: In the app
- Sign in to ApexAcumen (the mobile app or acumen.bigsimple.dev).
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm.
Deletion takes effect immediately and cancels any active subscription.
Option 2: Without the app
If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email bigsimpledevelopment@protonmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my ApexAcumen account". We'll confirm your request and delete your account within 30 days.
Deleted immediately
- Uploaded contracts and the text extracted from them
- Analyses, chat history and comparisons
- Share links
- Saved sessions and remembered devices
Deleted within 30 days
- Your account record: email address, login details and preferences
- Your usage history
Kept
- Payment and invoice records held by our payment processor, Stripe, kept as tax law requires (typically 7 years)
- Server request logs, deleted automatically within 30 days
